Stuff brought back on vacation. I think you can see the Miracle Whip in the picture, but I didn't take any pics below of it. A few things I didn't take pics of this trip. But this at least gives you a little idea of what we brought back. : )
6 boxes of brownies. Bought this at Cost u less. Walnuts also from Cost u less. Nestle toll house chocolate chips and a #9 birthday candle. This stuff I tucked away into the food pantry for when the Fall/Winter cooler weather comes.
Granola bars, trail mix and dried mango.
Breakfast stuff I have in the pantry for Fall. Cinnamon bun/roll hot cereal, etc.
A huge bottle of syrup. From Cost u less.
Stuff for Mexican food night. Fajita seasonings, taco seasonings, enchilada sauce etc.
The stuffing and gravy I have in the pantry for Thanksgiving and also a few extras for just roasted chicken night. Chicken rice a roni.
A 5lb bag of cheese tortellini, pasta sauces, and crushed red pepper flakes for pizza night.
Gum for myself. Minty chocolate cookies, chocolate pudding and chocolate brownie pudding, and some chocolate bars.
Popcorn, rice krispie treats and corn nuts.
Kids meds, one for mucus, one for cold and cough, and one for fever. Tooth paste, razors, toothbrushes, antibacterial hand wash. Tampons. The Colgate toothpaste is what B takes to school since they brush their teeth at elementary school.
Like I said the school supplies were all on display and on sale at Kmart. And I noticed the last observation day we went to at the elementary school. A lot of Branden's classmates had bigger kid sized scissors. I wanted to get B a bigger size scissors too. And when I saw these, I picked these up for him. I liked they were still for kids but for bigger kids and I liked the safety blades and the antimicrobial protection.
Erasers, stick glue that has disappearing purple, scissors and glue.
Shampoo in gallon sized bags. Just in case of any leaks, we didn't get any leaks but just making sure.
Aveda knocks offs of the rosemary mint shampoo and conditioner, I bought 2 of each in this scent. They were like $1.50 each, so not too terribly bad a price.
Almond and Shea Butter again another Aveda knock off. And this one smells so good. Have this up in the upstairs hall closet waiting for the Fall/Winter.
Dove deodorant and Ban Island Falls.

Summer stuff was all on clearance. Not sure why, since it is a tropical island and technically they could actually wear Summer stuff year round. But far be it for me to ask why. It was a good deal, so I jumped on it in a size 6 for Noah for next year.
Levi's were on sale, actually all jeans were on sale for the boys/kids department. I bought Branden 2 pairs of jeans for the upcoming Fall/Winter weather. Figured a 2 jean head start was a good idea. Plus they were on sale...$22 or $21 dollars each.
Branden needs a straight fit for his body type.
Meanwhile for Noah, he's so skinny he needs the Skinny fit. @_@ And even still he needs the adjustable waistband cinched still. The day we arrived, Noah weighed 34lb's and the day we left, on my dad's scale he weighed 35 lbs. That's the weight of some 2 and 3 year olds. Meanwhile he eats a lot. Yet he's so so skinny.
2 pairs of skinny jeans for Noah.
Some dvd's. The Tooth Fairy for the kids. Terminator (such a deal at $9.99) and Terminator 2 for $7.99. And Terminator Salvation was $19.99 but had to be added to the collection here at home. For the hubby and I, I picked up, the Hangover and the Hot Tub Time Machine. The Hangover was hilarious. And the Hot Tub Time Machine is supposed to be even better and it has John Cusak in it, so hopefully we'll see it tonight.
Branden will be 9 this year (end of Oct) the only thing is in the US we don't sell size 9 clothing for kids. We sell, size 1,2,4,6, 7, 8 and then we skip 9 and go straight to 10. Branden's pretty normal sized, he's not overly huge yet not overly skinny like Noah. Noah's tall btw, but skinny as heck. So, I am going to have to, order size 10's this year for B and hope they all fit okay. This shirt I saw at Kmart. It was a thick good weight and the price was very fair. The 8, I held up to B and it looked teeny tiny on him. Meanwhile the 10/12 looked a little big. @_@ Not freakishly big. But yeah, this size 9 stuff is going to have me teeter tottering this year between size 8? Size 10?
Just a basic tee for Branden.
Loved the titles to the stories this month. especially the one.."Are you destined to become your mother?" Ha ha ha. I think personality wise, yeah I am half my mother and half my grandmother.
I picked out Branden's 9 year old birthday card...I hid it and tucked it away. I'll give this to him in a few month's time. This is the hard part about living overseas. All the things I have to plan and remember to do in advance. : ) Yep, even like birthday cards. ; )

I also......in advance. Placed an order at Gap/ON. So it'd be there when I was there.
The main purpose was to buy Branden 2 pairs of jeans. Since I was picking them up, I picked this sweatshirt for Noah.
According to the Gap tag, a typical 5 year old weight is what...40-46lbs? Not even close here. Oh Noah honey. We so totally need to fatten you up. 42-45inches tall, yep, we got that part...but the weight thing. Is way off. : (
And here we go with the teeter totter in sizes for B again. Really really stuck on the not having any in between sizes. I went for a size 10 regular. It says 10 regular right? Wrong...I tried these on and they were so skin tight. I was baffled. I had Branden take them off and looked inside and sure enough mislabeled. Don't you just hate when that happens? They were 10 slims! Sigh. if I lived in the US, I'd just buy at the store. But add I don't and then the fact I live overseas. My heart was in the right place, because the jeans at $10 bucks were a savings. But now the fact I have to ship them back. Feels very frustrating.
Jeans going back. Am so relieved I am starting this stuff early though. That's the only good part.

The sweatshirt was good, everything wonderful except for the jeans for Branden, but they are a good company and always exchange and or credit right away. So, I have no worries.
And I ordered myself a sweater dress.
Just a fitted argyle sweater dress for the winter time. Anyway here's a little glimpse of what we brought back with us.
Our trip to Guam was pretty awesome. Here's Branden at one of the pools at my dad's condo. The boys swam ever morning for an hour before getting dressed for the day. And at the end of each day when we'd come back to my dad's, the boys would swim at night for a full hour each and every single night we were there. And then they'd shower before bed. They got a lot of swim time while there.

And then Noah went yet again. They went back and forth like this for quite a long time.
Then back to the other pool and this time Branden and my dad raced in the pool, the back stroke. Branden won. Sorry dad. ; )

Noah did a cartwheel. This move scared my dad. My dad said...he could hit the concrete or...or..or. So, to ease grandpa, we banned this move. ; ) But man this kid has no fear!

One lunch Branden had was KFC, with mashed potatoes and gravy.
I had a veggie and cheese Subway sandwich, no chips and I had a bottle water for one of my lunches.
At one of the Cost u less stores. I went to both of them this trip. They each carry different stuff so I like to hit both, they're big though the one in Dededo is twice bigger then the one near GPO. I can drive and know my way around Guam a lot so me zipping here and there is very easy.
Trying to decide which granola bars to get, hmm.
One dinner we had was at Tony Romas. Baked potato soup, with all the toppings that go on a baked potato. Man this soup is good.
I had the half slab baby back ribs.
Noah had chicken tenders, Branden had the kids ribs.

Would you believe the day we arrived was the first official day back to school for the school kids in Guam. So they had all the school supplies out. The kids clothes were all on sale. It made me happy. And on the radio all that day....we heard..."today's the first day back at school" ; )
I went to see Eclipse the day after I got there. That morning, the boys swam at 6:30 until about 7:20am, they went upstairs and showered and got dressed, I did the same and then we all went to breakfast. The grocery stores (Payless) are open 24hours so we shopped in them first and then the Cost u less open at 9am. So, we got most of our shopping done and out of the way. Went back to dad's condo dropped everything back off. Had lunch and got ready for the movies. My dad knew how badly I wanted to see Eclipse (Twilight's Eclipse that is), and so my dad took the boys to a different movie that started the same time. It was a kids movie in 3-D, called Despicable Me. If you see my ticket says early bird. It's because we went to the first showing of the day, so all of our tickets were just $5 each. And the first showings weren't until 1:30pm so we got to get everything needing to get done beforehand. The kids and my dad had a huge popcorn and a large drink and went into their movie. And I bought a bottle water and a small popcorn. We all met out front of the theater but our movies got out relatively at the same time. Very little wait time. After our movie we all got some Cold Stone ice cream and then walked along the beach.
For another dinner, we went to a place called Carmen's. It's a Mexican restaurant. Can you see the huge gorgeous Catholic church behind B and my dad, through the window?
I had the chili relleno plate it was so good. The whole mood of the trip was just so relaxing. We all had such a good time.
Another breakfast, for the boys they got chocolate chip pancakes and sausages.
I meanwhile had a veggie and cheese omelet, hash browns and coffee and toast.
Noah had a morning swim and now was onto breakfast.
The boys swam in the beach last Wednesday, that's what we did that day. But this was taken, another day, one of our beach walks. I think we were killing time before heading to have some Italian that night. The boys collected a few seashells.
And now heading down to dinner and just started to rain.

It had started to rain but we were in the restaurant and just looking out the window....the DFS is across the street so we could see a bunch of tourists.
I had the lasagna, so did my dad, the boys shared a large pepperoni pizza. That pizza is so good. I had a slice.

The day we left, our flight was at 10am last Friday. We were at Denny's, the boys had breakfast, my dad also ordered the breakfast, and I debated ordering breakfast or the lunch. I ended up ordering the lunch as you can see by the pic. I had ordered a chicken breast sandwich battered and fried and then drenched in the buffalo wing sauce with cheese. It was very good. After this my dad dropped us off at the airport around 7:30am. We checked in quickly and went into the customs area. We didn't eat anything at the airport because we ate at Denny's beforehand. The kids went to the restroom. So, did I. And then we went and sat near our gate until it started boarding at 9:30am.
