Our hotel, while on Guam and some pics at the pool!!! : )

Here's an awesome pic of Branden snorkeling, however to begin this little 5 day/4 night journey I better just start with the hotel. : )

We could choose the King size bed, but we found out years ago while staying here that the 2 double beds pushed together are actually bigger. Not quite sure how that all works out, but it's just how we always do things when there....we just push the 2 beds together. Sure enough after 5 minutes of being in the room we did just that, ha ha ha. : )

The boys! : ) And one good thing about this hotel, especially if you've been reading my blog for a long time, you'll recall I have shown this hotel in pics before. And the rooms are always the same, no matter what hotel room you get. Bedding is always nice and furniture is always the same , so the layout will never be a mystery. But yeah, the Hilton is clean, and I mean like Monica from Friends type clean. LOL.

This table here was great for the boys to eat their meals on.

The highest floor had a private lounge. It was just for us who stayed on the floor. However, we personally didn't really care much about that, because when on vacation we prefer swim or shop, not sit in a lounge, lol. So we never used it at all. Ha ha ha. : ) Besides we are oh so, totally *not* hoity toity type people at all.

Our floor had turn down service. Every night, the maid went in and turned down our blankets and left 4 little chocolates and the weather forecast for the next day. Sorry the boys always grabbed their chocolates too fast for a pic of all 4 chocolates. : ( Ha ha ha. : )

The highest floor was #13, the 13th floor. Noboru said, perhaps it's unlucky. I just said...ahhhhh! It's fine! And it was. Everything was wonderful. : )

We love that they have about 3-4 pools, plus the slide and pool there and also the kiddie pool. The infinity pool is the hubsters favorite pool. And the view overlooking the ocean is awesome! : )

Branden went down this slide every day we were here. He went down about 20 times at least each day. Hubby too and me too. Noah went down about 8 times a day. : )

The baby pool. Branden grew up going to this very pool since he was a little 1 year old, and Noah has been splashing in the very same pool since he was also a crawling little babe! So they are experts of this paddling pool! Ha ha ha. : )

B was sliding, and I took a few pics before I went sliding as well. : )

I love this picture.....father and son walking hand and hand! : ) Where was B? He was sliding down the slide with 2 little blond boys. Yup he made friends with 2 little kids and they hung out for about 25 minutes going down the slide together!

And here was Noah's little girlfriend! See how there's 3 kids in this pic? She's 3 years and 10 mos. So she was an older woman, ha ha ha. : ) But she was also a Half American and half Japanese child. Her mother was Japanese and her father was a westerner, same as me. She saw Noah splashing about and she came right over. She spoke Japanese and also English. She was a very cool little girl!!! : )

The 3 kids! : ) And you would never believe this, but guess what this little girl's favorite character was??? I swear to you, I am not kidding either! It was Ultraman! Branden asked her...what's your favorite character. No girly character for her. She said....Ultraman! Both our boys said, what???? You like Ultraman?! They were off doing ultraman moves in the paddling pool! She knew all the Ultraman names too! Noboru told me....this is something only a kid in Japan would know! Jokingly, I had to roll my eyes and say....ughhh okay! Ha ha ha. : ) Right on for this little girl! She was so cool! : )

Noboru is a fun dad, a really hands on type, will totally jump in and play with the kids, type dad! The 3 kids decided to splash Noboru. Even our little beautiful Ultraman liking girl joined in! Ha ha ha. : ) The 3 kids spoke to each other in English and then switched to Japanese and then switched to English. It was interesting to watch, and her parents enjoyed watching this too. : )

The boys and the hubby at play! We went to the pools and or the beach every single day. For the 5 days we were there. We swam from 9am to 2pm everyday. And then we quickly showered up and went to have lunch. And then at 3pm, we would do our shopping, or going to the mall, site seeing or shopping Kmart or Macy's whatever. And then around 6 or 6:30pm, we'd eat dinner and bring some snacks back to the hotel. We'd usually get back to the hotel around 7:30-8 pm every night.

What a truly wonderful father he is to our children! Always here and always playing or being with them, he's totally an awesome dad!

Every morning, we'd run into our maid. And we'd tell her, "we're off to swim", well it was obvious wearing the swimsuits anyways, lol. And when we'd come back, she always brought us 4 bottled waters. She's say...you guys must be dehydrated. Wow, how thoughtful, I thought. She did this everyday. And sorry the 2 waters on the right, the boys drank some before I snapped the pic. Ha ha ha. : )

And this is so funny, and no I didn't fold those down. As we came back from a swim, she saw us in the hall and said, I laid down some towels for you guys, "don't want you guys to slip" I told her..."wow that is so nice of you, thanks!" I tell you this lady was amazing and yes we did tip her daily! And this is even funnier. One night, Noboru laid his trunks on or near the tub. Meanwhile mine and the kids I lay on the balcony with my clips I brought from Japan, so they dry by the next day. Anyway when we came back from lunch, shopping and dinner. We found Noboru's swim trunks hanging on the linen line in the bathroom!!! He said did you do that? I said, no. It was the house keeping lady, she said she saw his trunks when she brought us our nightly chocolates and did the turn down service. We were like..."man she really is awesome!" ha ha ha. This was like the wonder lady! She was the best!

Our rental car! : ) We always rent an SUV that looks like this, color may be different but it's always this style and shape. : ) We've been renting from the same place for years. And we have our price locked and frozen at 20 bucks a day.

This one was a brand new car. The owner of where we rent from, said they had just received 10 new cars! Ours had just 30 miles on it when they brought it to us, now as of this pic, it had 78 or so miles on it. It even had that fab new car smell, lol. : )

More days spent at the pools, sliding down slides and at the beach snorkeling! : )

Everyday spent at the pool, yet only 2 days I actually took pics, the other 3 days, I didn't even bother! Just too much into the moment, I think. Here's Noah jumping into the infinity pool!

Noboru sliding down! He was like a kid again when it came to the slide, actually so was I though too! I would run up and take my turn! The thrill of running up, who gets to the slide first, lol....amazing and so much fun!

The views of the pools in the Hilton are always so nice! The waterfalls, and the beautiful flowers and whatnots all around. The whole setting and the white chairs. I loved my time there. Everyday I laid my towel down on the big white chairs. I'd snap a few pics and then I would pack my camera in it's carrying case and then a plastic bag and hide it with our stuff. And I'd be gone playing all day. Swimming and sliding!

I love this pic a lot because it shows others around and there were always a few others around though not overly crowded and that is what I like. But, I like how B was jumping and actually so was Noah! Except one was a crazy man leap, that was Branden's jump! And then Noah's was the more cautious jump into daddy's arm type jump! Ha ha ha! : )

My big fish!!! He is such a fantastic swimmer, I am glad I bought this water proof instant camera to capture Noah and Branden in the water where the action is! : )

Perhaps I better explain this pic, lol! It is of Branden and I both sliding down the slide together. The hair is Branden's who was riding in front of me! The foot in the center is his and the dot of the foot on the outer bit of Branden's foot is mine. We were swish swooshing down the slide so fast, I was actually surprised I could even manage to take a picture with the water proof camera at all. It was so much fun! I love sliding down with B, we always have a ton of laughs! : ) Playing with both mom and dad

This is that instant waterproof camera again so the quality isn't as good as with my digi cam. But, you can see a snorkeling Branden snorkeling in the ocean! Branden and I snorkeled for an hour first, while Noboru and Noah played in the water splashing in the ocean or along the beach! Then we switched and I took Noah for the hour and he snorkeled with B!

A sea cucumber! They are alive and they do get scared if you pick them up and they do go pee when scared. So, be aware they will pee. : ) Ha ha ha. Noboru or B will pick one up for a sec, and gently take a look, they always get so scared they "make water" and then they gently lay them down on the ocean floor again! Very nice guys those sea cucumbers, ha ha ha! : )

We swam above the coral and saw so many different types of fish. Some bigger fish eating the littler ones, yikes!!! Ha ha ha! : ) May sound silly but as most of you know, one of my biggest loves is snorkeling. Just to get a first hand look of what lays beneath the surface. Absolutely incredible! There's a whole other world under the sea! To get to witness it and watch it in all of it's wonder, is seriously one of the most amazing things ever! And to get to enjoy this with my son! Amazing, hopefully next year we can do this with both sons and the hubby all at the same time! Ha ha ha! : )

It's a private beach for the Hilton guests, so it's so totally not crowded at all! : )

Look really closely if you will. See this almost clear/see through fish? It's towards the right of this pic. he was right near the surface of the water, so many people walking in the ocean had no idea what lay just under the surface, like I said. We knew with our gear/masks though, ha ha ha. We could see! Ha ha ha. : )

A really good picture of Branden snorkeling in the ocean! And yes he wears his Crocs when in the water so to not cut his foot on the coral, same for all of us.

This picture though has to be the best one we took this trip though... hands down! It shows B in the water plus the coral down below. Love this pic so much! And you know taking a pic with those instant cameras is hard to begin with. Can't view the pic immediately like you can with a digi cam. so there's no "do overs" if the pic sucks. Because you won't know if the pic sucks, until it's too late, lol.. So, the fact we even got a good pic with that instant waterproof camera was amazing all on it's own anyway, ha ha ha! : ) Plus it seems to capture who B is. He's a water kid. A good swimmer, a true fish! So this pic, seems to capture who he really is then! : )

These are out and about pics! This little shopping complex, happens to have the best Croc retail shop on Guam! They have nothing but Crocs. It was a Croc wonderland in there! We bought 6 pairs! And we are a Croc family to begin with as you know. But we just couldn't help ourselves! : )

One of the 3 Tony Romas on Guam, is located at this shoppette. As well as a Blimpie sandwich shop! : )

A trolley that shuttles people from the Micronesia mall, to the GPO (outlet) and to Kmart, and then back around to all the main hotels. 3 dollars a ride or the better deal is the $10, a week unlimited pass. that's the best way to go if you ask me. However we both drive so we don't use the trolleys anyway.

We hit the Home Depot! They have so much cool stuff for homeowners! Noboru was just stuck in heaven.... looking over all the grass treatments! I patiently waited while he shopped here and walked every aisle with him. Because he patiently waited while I went to my girly shops or when I went for my eyebrow wax! So, I knew it was fair to tag along with a smile and let him enjoy himself at Home Depot! : )

Now that's a mighty big cart! Ha ha ha! : )
