My snacks were bought affordably this week. Both the cookies were only 99 yen each box. And same with both my chips and same with both my caramel corns (I grabbed my caramel corns at the Co-op store that's next door to the 100 yen shop, since I was grabbing the bath tabs anyway). Sometimes I buy name brand snacks like Morinaga and stuff and sometimes I try to cut corners and buy more affordable brands. But as long as I buy snacks, that's all what counts! : )
And the giant bunch of bananas (9) were only 100 yen at my regular grocery store. I don't mind though because if any are left over, I will just make a loaf of banana bread. I only need 3 bananas for 1 loaf of banana bread, yumm! Probably sometime this week, I'll make a loaf for sure. : )
ps: I wanted to add, since 99% of you are reading this from the states anyways, I think the pics will be most interesting because you get to see. Yeah, we do have chips same as you guys do, except our bags are written in Japanese lol. And the butter cookies in the pic that are in the red box actually taste like the kind we have in the US, the Danish cookies in the blue tin, kwim? They are yummy! And yes, if you look real closely at the label on my bananas, you will find out that they are Delmonte, same brand, we get in America. And sometimes they have Chiquita too, lol! So, it's not so much different. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed the pics of the types of foods and stuff available in Japan. : )
