My Chicken Little review.

My Chicken Little review. I don't mind giving my opinion about movies I've seen. I already gave my review of the new Willy Wonka and Polar Express and Madagascar. So now after seeing Chicken Little about 200 times so far, here's my review!

The opening of the movie is absolutely worth mentioning. It starts opening a few different ways as a joke and to sorta make fun of a few other movies in a light hearted cute sorta way! It starts off with the beginning music of the Lion King and then it says " umm no that sounds familiar already doesn't it?" LOL. And then it starts to open the same way as Shrek, by opening a big book and saying.."Once upon a time"......and then it says, "nah! That's been done before too many times" LOL!!! And then it just starts...with Chicken Little ringing the town bell of Oakey Oaks screaming the sky is falling, the sky is falling!

Nobody believes Chicken Little. And not even his own dad (chicken littles mom is passed away). They entire town sorta makes Chicken Little the brunt of all jokes, even making a movie about him calling it..."That Crazy Chicken", they got billboard signs about him. And the father of Chicken Little says "omg a bumper sticker? a billboard sign, I can take, but a bumper sticker is FOREVER!!". So in a nut shell the whole sky is falling incident, really made Chicken Little the laughing stock of Oakey Oaks!

His father just wants him to be invisible and disappear, because he is so embarrassed by the whole sky is falling incident as well. He even tells Chicken Little, just lay low! His father was a popular guy in high school and his name is, get this! Buck Cluck! LOL. Meanwhile Chicken Little wants to do something amazing and get a good reputation vs. just disappearing.He tries to follow his fathers footsteps and joins the baseball team. And he does get a victory with that but it's short lived! And I'll explain myself in the next paragraph.

Chicken Little *was* absolutely correct about something hitting him on the head! No the sky wasn't falling! But a piece from a space ship was what hit him on the head! So he was telling the truth the entire time! However, he is afraid to tell his dad the truth this time because of all the horrible things that happened after the first incident! But, he eventually tells his dad and his dad believes him.

The cast of funny characters. There is some girl named Abby Mallard, honestly? She's a super duper ugly ducking and she is Chicken Little's love interest. Ron, he is this gigantic pig. He is funny because this pig sings nothing but songs and show tunes! I mean he does talk and stuff but he really likes music! He sings, Staying Alive for instance when he gets scared walking in the space ship. He also sings karaoke with Abby and does a nice rendition of Spice Girls, so tell me what you want...what you really really want, lol! And I will Survive when he is driving the car trying to get away from the aliens after the aliens attack. And Fish, he's hilarious, probably one of my favorites out of the entire movie!

The cars in this movie are totally funny. For instance the fish guy drives around in a fish bowl with wheels! Ha ha ha! A Cheetah drives around in a car with spots! LOL And the Dalmatians drive a fire truck! LOL!

The soundtrack for this is good! The songs, are all well known! Definitely watch the ending credits because they all do a great version of "Don't go Breaking my heart" remember this was by Elton John and Kiki Dee, lol!

I do get some underlying message of like...believe in your kid (and this is a nice message btw, so it's a cute movie for sure, with a good message). I think the movie is excellent and totally worth watching! Not as funny as Shrek but totally a close second! Branden just loves this movie and watches it at least once a day and sometimes twice a day! Not bad, considering this movie won't even be available until probably next year on DVD. So, I'm glad, I got this movie on DVD way in advance, to add to our collection! Two thumbs up for Chicken Little.
